A message from our chairman;

I am proud to introduce the syllabus for the 94th Mansfield Music and Drama Festival which will be held in Spring 2017. If you are new to the Festival a very warm welcome to you, to previous entrants, welcome back and thank you for your continuing support.

Our syllabus is where you can find the detail about the classes within our festival; how to enter and about what the requirements are. If you need any support we have a team of volunteers who make the festival possible and we will put you in touch with the relevant officer. Make sure you are organised and don’t miss our entries deadline which is 28th January 2017.

The Festival is only possible thanks to the continued and valued support of all our sponsors and patrons. The Festival is a registered charity and every contribution is vital to our continued success. If you, your business or family can help support the festival financially please get in touch with us.

We have a number of classes this year which are free to enter, these include our vocal duets, piano duets and six hands one piano classes. We encourage you to enter as many classes as you can throughout the syllabus. You can also enter the class drawing a picture of a poem. Entry forms can be obtained by emailing mmdf@hotmail.co.uk.

Don’t forget to join us at the Festival Concert which is held at the end of the festival and showcases highlights from the Festival. This year the concert will be Sunday 8th May 2016 at the Palace Theatre.

All that remains for me to say is good luck to all entrants in the Mansfield Music and Drama Festival 2017.
